As a People Operations Coordinator, you support the effective delivery of people operations across the full employee lifecycle through strong governance, quality assurance, and process coordination. This role works closely with the People Administration team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across people processes while driving continuous improvement.
The position plays a critical role in enabling high-quality service delivery through quality reviews, lifecycle coordination, data governance, escalation management, and advisory support, contributing directly to the effectiveness of Civica’s People Operations and Employee Relations function across APAC.
This role provides meaningful exposure across the breadth of people operations in a complex, global organisation committed to integrity, consistency, and continuous improvement. It sits at the intersection of governance, service quality, and employee experience, offering hands-on involvement in lifecycle processes and cyclical people activities that impact employees and leaders across the business.
The People Operations Coordinator operates within a collaborative environment that values structured processes, data accuracy, and professional judgement. The role offers the opportunity to deepen capability in quality assurance, stakeholder enablement, and operational improvement while supporting initiatives that strengthen how Civica delivers people services at scale.
Requirements
What you'll do to be successful in the role
- Experience in a People Operations, HR Coordination, or shared services environment
- Demonstrated capability in quality assurance, governance, and process improvement
- Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to accuracy and compliance
- Proven ability to conduct quality reviews across onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
- Experience identifying process gaps, trends, and corrective actions
- Ability to coordinate cyclical people activities and deliver outcomes to agreed timelines
- Experience providing first-line advice for general people operations queries
- Strong ability to manage escalations and non-standard cases with confidence and professionalism
- Exposure to HR reporting, audits, and ad-hoc data requests
- Experience maintaining HRIS data integrity and governance standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee information
- Organised, dependable, and capable of working across multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline preferred
