About the Role…

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while also supporting key HR administration and system processes.

You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, maintaining employee data, and supporting HR operations in a fast-paced and evolving environment.


Requirements

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Process end-to-end payroll using ADP/Payforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and validate employee hours, pay rates, and entitlements (using UKG Realtime system)
  • Process wages, allowances, deductions, taxes, and superannuation
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including new starters, changes, and terminations
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for Finance and management
  • Maintain employee records in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with HR reporting (e.g. headcount, turnover)
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as required

  • Diploma or equivalent in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in payroll and/or HR administration
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Experience with payroll/HR systems (ADP, Workday, or similar preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
