Job Description

KPMG's Finance division are looking for a highly talented National Payroll Specialist to join our growing Payroll team on a full-time basis offering high quality end-to-end payroll processing services to the Australian firm.

Your Opportunity

As a Payroll Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager to deliver payroll processing services on a weekly and monthly basis. You will be responsible for ensuring that the payroll is processed in line with local rules and legislation. You will also be responsible for leveraging your experience to support continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Your role will include:

  • Processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for the employees of the Australian firm
  • Support the Payroll Manager with compliance on payroll statutory obligations and reporting requirements
  • Process payroll related third party payments, including superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax
  • Developing strong relationships with Finance and People & Inclusion.

  • Good understanding of payroll and people analytics, payroll processes, time and attendance systems is advantageous

Your Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of payroll in Australia
  • Experienced in payroll administration and processing in a large organisation
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with enthusiasm and drive
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Fast and accurate data entry with strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of large payroll systems such as SAP is desirable
