Latitude Financial Services is currently implementing a partially outsourced Payroll model where payroll services will be managed in collaboration with external vendor Frontier Software.

The Payroll Lead will oversee the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring the successful execution, integration, and continuous improvement of the outsourced model. This role will act as the key liaison between Latitude and external vendors to ensure payroll services are delivered seamlessly. You will also oversee internal payroll activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and embed the partially outsourced payroll model while identifying opportunities for further efficiencies.
  • Be the dedicated point of contact for outsourced payroll providers (Frontier Software for AU and NZ, Mazars for Singapore and Malaysia).
  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll queries promptly, ensuring an excellent employee experience.
  • Develop and implement frameworks, policies, tools, processes, and reporting to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Support payroll-related projects, such as new incentive schemes, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and execution with vendors.
  • Provide payroll advice to business stakeholders, including People Partners, to aid decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance in HRIS systems (Workday, Chris21) while supporting integrations across HR platforms.
  • Deliver timely reports, analytics, and insights to support business needs.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and payroll compliance across all relevant regions.

What we’re looking for:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, Law, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Experience managing or overseeing outsourced payroll models.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts).
  • Strong experience in HRIS platforms such as Workday, Chris21, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear insights from data.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Execution-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
