THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of our team based in Sydney or Melbourne, you’ll have the opportunity to shape EML’s growth in the superannuation sector, building strategic partnerships and establishing our position as a trusted specialist in claims management.

In this newly created role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, leveraging your established industry network and market insight to build relationships with key decision-makers across superannuation, life insurance and related sectors. You’ll lead conversations with prospective clients, develop compelling value propositions and work closely with senior leaders across EML to turn opportunities into sustainable partnerships.

You’ll also play a key role in strengthening EML’s profile across the industry, representing the organisation at conferences, industry forums and senior stakeholder meetings. With significant autonomy and visibility across the business, this is an opportunity to help shape how EML enters and grows within the superannuation market, while building long-term relationships that support our broader growth strategy.

This will be a permanent full time position based in our Sydney or Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home in line with EML’s hybrid working arrangements. The role will involve occasional interstate travel and attendance at industry conferences and events.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the superannuation sector, leveraging your industry network and market knowledge to build and maintain a strong pipeline.
  • Develop compelling value propositions, tenders and proposals that demonstrate EML’s differentiated approach to claims management and position us for sustainable growth.
  • Represent EML across the superannuation industry, building our market profile through senior stakeholder engagement, industry forums, conferences and external event
  • Work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to shape growth strategies, develop customer solutions and support the successful transition and onboarding of new clients.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with superannuation funds, life insurers, administrators and other key industry stakeholders, from initial engagement through to ongoing relationship management.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic insight on industry trends, competitors and emerging opportunities to inform EML’s growth strategy and identify new avenues for partnership.

ABOUT YOU

  • 10+ years’ experience within the superannuation, life insurance or related financial services sector.
