About the opportunity

The Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in leading our Partner marketing strategy for the Oceania region. The role focuses on rolling out programs which are highly engaging and collaborative with our Partners to achieve successful outcomes.

With the opportunity to work with the local, regional and global Marketing team, you will be hands-on in building creative and impactful initiatives which includes onboarding campaigns, channel events, and initiatives to drive loyalty and lead generation.

The ideal candidate is self-drive, highly collaborative, and results oriented who can work within cross-functional teams.

This position is based in our Melbourne or Sydney office with a requirement to travel domestically and some international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Axis’ sales and marketing teams to lead, manage, run and measure the partner marketing programs and distributor marketing programs.
  • Work in collaboration with both APAC regional partner marketing and HQ partner marketing teams.
  • Drive the partner marketing program in the areas of partner recruitment, activation, enablement, retention and go-to-market strategies, in collaboration with the sales, external stakeholders and Oceania Marketing Manager.
  • Work closely with the APAC Marketing and Corporate Marketing teams to implement channel marketing strategies and provide suggestions as required by the local market.
  • Organise events that increase partner loyalty, engagement and empower the Axis team to share strategy and product and solution updates.
  • Create a user journey for our Axis academy and design and implement Academy campaigns and communications across the region.
  • Own the partner and distributor communications for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications, skills, behaviours and experience

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
  • Significant experience in B2B marketing position preferably within the technology or security industry
  • Experience and/or exposure in running a partner or channel marketing
  • Proven experience building strong business relationships both internally and externally
  • A self-starter with strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player with a creative mindset and ability to influence peers and leadership
  • Working knowledge of Martech like SFDC and Pardot or similar are an advantage
