Our customers and the business world need to know they can trust us. Marketing and Corporate Communications focuses on protecting and enhancing AIG’s reputation and valuation. Our multi-disciplinary team acts as an in-house “agency” – deploying high-quality comms capabilities at the forefront of strategic advisory and integrated execution services.
How you will create an impact
It’s an exciting time to join AIG. In this role, you’ll help build on the momentum we’re creating, collaborating across the Pacific business to ensure consistent messaging, branding and alignment of marketing and communications activities. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, Pacific, this is a hands-on role that will focus on internal and external marketing and communications execution for Australia and New Zealand.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Marketing and creative support for product & service material and announcements, including advertising.
- Management of local websites, ensuring a positive user experience and accurate content.
- Development and distribution of internal communications, keeping colleagues informed and engaged.
- Event support for corporate, broker, client or product-related sponsorships and events.
- Campaign delivery for internal and external marketing and communications activities.
- Collaborating with external agencies and other stakeholders to maximise AIG budget and resources.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in internal and external communications with a solid understanding of brand management.
- Great collaborator with the ability to establish strong working relationships with internal partners across the business and with regional team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- An eye for detail and excellent business writing skills, including drafting, editing and proof reading, coupled with a passion for storytelling and creative communications
- Strong planning skills with a demonstrated understanding of the need to align locally, regionally and globally.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and synthesise data.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Eloqua and Poppulo ideal.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications or a related discipline preferred.
