Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operational Consultant to support the day-to-day delivery of community immunisation services. This frontline role is central to ensuring a seamless, safe, and high-quality vaccination program across schools, clinics, and outreach settings.
You will be the first point of contact for enquiries from the public, healthcare providers, and government stakeholders, while also playing a key role in appointment scheduling, vaccine inventory management, and operational compliance.
This is a fast-paced, purpose-driven role where your work directly contributes to public health outcomes and community wellbeing.
Day to Day!
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from the public, providers, and government stakeholders
- Provide timely, accurate, and empathetic support across bookings, immunisation services, and records
- Triage and escalate clinical or complex enquiries as needed
- Maintain accurate interaction records in system platforms
- Support FAQs, templates, and knowledge base updates to improve efficiency
- Coordinate immunisation bookings across schools, clinics, and outreach programs
- Manage availability, cancellations, and scheduling conflicts
- Liaise with providers and clinic coordinators for smooth session delivery
- Support onboarding of new sites into booking systems
- Support cold chain compliance and temperature monitoring
- Assist with vaccine ordering, storage, distribution, and stock reconciliation
- Track expiry dates, stock levels, and wastage reporting
- Escalate cold chain issues or shortages promptly
- Maintain operational records for reporting and KPI tracking
- Support audits, compliance checks, and data reconciliation
- Build strong relationships with providers and government stakeholders
- Communicate updates and operational changes clearly
- Support community outreach to improve vaccination uptake

You are a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment, with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You bring experience in an operational, administrative, or service delivery role, along with strong interpersonal and written communication skills, well-developed problem-solving abilities, and confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems. You work collaboratively within teams and across stakeholders, and experience in health, community services, or multi-site operations is highly regarded.
