The National Partner Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive commercial and operational performance. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and partner organisations, the role focuses on aligning business priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering sustainable business outcomes through strong relationship management and strategic influence.
The role provides commercial leadership through financial planning, forecasting, governance, and performance management while delivering actionable insights to support business decision-making. The Business Partner Manager works cross-functionally with product, sales, operations, and executive teams to ensure alignment, optimise performance, manage risks, and unlock value across partner relationships.Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Work closely with senior leaders to shape strategy, prioritise initiatives, and align execution to business and financial goals.
  • Business Performance & Insight: Provide actionable insights on performance, risks, and opportunities to drive informed, data-led decision-making.
  • Commercial & Financial Leadership: Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management to deliver EBIT and productivity targets.
  • Planning & Governance: Lead business planning cycles, ensuring disciplined prioritisation, robust governance, and alignment across initiatives.
  • Value Creation & Optimisation: Identify and drive opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and commercial outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Build strong relationships across executive and operational teams to align priorities and influence outcomes.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively manage business risks and identify opportunities to strengthen performance and resilience.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure coordination across teams (product, sales, operations) to enable effective delivery of business priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in business partnering, commercial management, or strategy roles within a complex organisation
  • Proven track record of managing senior stakeholder and partner relationships to deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management (EBIT focus preferred)
  • Experience in planning and governance, with the ability to drive disciplined execution across multiple initiatives
  • Background in telecommunications, retail, or a related industry (highly desirable)
