We're looking for a Microsoft Security Engineer who brings curiosity, initiative, and a genuine passion for security. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll have the autonomy to troubleshoot, optimise, and strengthen our Microsoft security environment while continuing to develop your skills. 

As our Microsoft Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Microsoft security environment. You'll work across day-to-day security operations while contributing to the design and implementation of security solutions alongside senior architects. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the Microsoft security environment

  • Configure, maintain and optimise Microsoft security solutions

  • Troubleshoot security, identity and access issues

  • Monitor vulnerabilities and drive remediation activities

  • Implement security policies and best practices

  • Support the design and delivery of new security solutions

  • Respond to security incidents and improve security controls

  • Produce clear technical documentation

  • Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders 
     

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access

  • Knowledge of Identity Governance and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

  • Experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender

  • Understanding of Azure Security and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)

  • Experience with vulnerability management and remediation

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently 
     

Desirable:

  • Citrix NetScaler / ADC

  • Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF)

  • One Identity PAM

  • Palo Alto Cortex (XDR/XSOAR)
