dentsu is a network designed for what’s next, helping clients predict and plan for disruptive future opportunities and create new paths to growth in the sustainable economy through five global leadership brands; Carat, Dentsu Creative, dentsu X, iProspect and Merkle, each with deep specialisms.

Dentsu’s Amplifi team is looking for a curious, data‑driven analyst to help shape the future of media measurement across our brands. This role is perfect for someone who loves digging into datasets, uncovering patterns, and translating complex methodologies into clear, actionable insights for investment teams and senior stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with some of the most experienced media talent in the industry - a team with more than 65 years of combined expertise - giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a long‑term career in media, trading, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse media industry measurement metrics to build a strong understanding of methodologies, outputs and limitations

  • Run comparative analyses across datasets to identify differences, trends & implications

  • Explore demographic and audience nuances, translating complex measurement data into clear insights to support leadership in client recommendations and conversations

  • Interpret and contextualise media-owner datasets against existing data, and convert them into client-ready insights

  • Leverage Nielson, Ipsos and other measurement partners to understand new tools, methodologies and best practices

  • Act as the bridge between the technical teams and the Amplifi teams

What will you bring:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Media, Analytics, research and/or audience measurement

  • Strong analytical capability – comfortable working with large datasets and identifying patterns

  • Understanding of media measurement tools (MOVE, Nielsen, Ipsos, Roy Morgan, or similar)

  • Ability to translate data into simple, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn OOH, trading strategy and measurement methodologies

What’s in it for you:

  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy which includes a $250 contribution to your home office set up

  • The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change

  • 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company Wellness days off per year for you to switch off and take your day, your way

  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University

Become a champion for meaningful progress:

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

If you want to belong to a one global network where opportunities are limitless – we look forward to welcoming you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
