Boeing is currently seeking a Marketing and Sales Representative to join our team located in Brisbane/Melbourne on a full-time permanent basis. This Marketing and Sales Representative position is ideally suited to professionals with industry experience looking for career growth, enhancement, and challenges within the aviation industry.

The chosen candidate will provide representation and support to Boeing customers based in Australia, New Zealand and Oceana. While this role is based in Brisbane/Melbourne, there is up to 50% travel expected both domestically and internationally. As this role is part of a global sales team, there will be an expectation to attend out of hours meetings with your peers and various stakeholders, however, with this comes some flexibility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and builds relationships with commercial aerospace customers to sell the company's products and ensure repeat business.
  • Focuses on and meets personal sales targets through new business development, growing assigned customer accounts, and troubleshooting customer problems.
  • Develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations and with all levels of commercial aerospace customers, supplier, and internal Boeing stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services.
  • Understands customers’ requirements to ensure customized aircraft parts solutions for aircraft maintenance operations. Tracks progress of the solution and maintains company and customer situational awareness.
  • Presents product features and benefits to customers, prepares proposal responses, and negotiates prices.
  • Collaborates with the various Boeing business units to utilize the most efficient and effective sales strategies.
  • Participates in planning, developing and managing sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Participates in special projects such as major promotions, new product launches, and new marketing initiatives including special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Flexibility to attend several meetings occurring in the evenings and possibly weekend hours.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree desirable but not essential. Equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience will be considered.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry.
  • Proven track record of selling within the aviation industry is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize and manage customer sales workload without supervision.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within airline management and Boeing organization on commercial issues.
