Join The Walt Disney Company as a Marketing Operations Lead where you will drive the execution and campaign delivery of our lifecycle communications to enable the initiatives and objectives of our marketers. In this role you will be accountable from solution design to solution build and deployment. You will also assist with establishing a best practice environment that champions the application of data/technical messaging solutions against existing capabilities and channel subject matter with regional partners.  In addition, this role administers user lifecycle messaging tests to drive experimentation and draw learnings from strategies defined by our marketers. This role is a hybrid of skill sets, which include: hands-on coding, test instrumentation, marketer strategy thought-partner, and user advocate - leveraging expert internal resources when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

      

  • Build, test and deliver lifecycle messages
  • Execute messaging optimization and best practice adoption
  • Run split and multivariate tests, ensuring test protocols are administered to minimize bias
  • Coordinates with market strategist in the creation and management of marketing campaign process for the purpose of driving video content engagement from our subscribers
  • Create and manage project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate work streams and dependencies, track and communicate progress, identify obstacles and ensure they’re addressed
  • Lead messaging solutions with an assigned team of Marketers and Analytics.
  • Administer complex experiments while balancing requests to achieve compounding business impact by mitigating churn.
  • Engage and apply functional knowledge of messaging, template scripting and agile knowledge to ensure we uphold the TWDC quality standards.
  • Ensure end-to-end connections for messages through robust cross-functional communication, followed by legal documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Navigate difficult conversations, escalates issues to leadership when partners are not aligned, and readily communicates milestone blockers and achievements to leadership.
  • Monitor messaging programs and campaign and mitigate or flag issues to partners
  • Traffic messages utilizing targeting capabilities while balancing against business goals
  • Implement and audit all analytic encoding to enable messaging effectiveness and manage journey programs
  • Drive messaging reporting and run adhoc analysis when requested
  • Ensure all messages conform to GDPR, and other legal or compliance requirements
  • Ensure all solutions are documented (e.g. Github, Wiki) to ensure transparency
  • Manage a functional area: Early Life, sub-region, or journey technical functionality
  • Assist with managing message scrum (e.g. intake, issue assignment, build/release, sprint closure)
  • Assist with overseeing messaging builds end-to-end, ensuring flawless execution and quality assurance

Ideal experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing operations.
  • Proficiency in HTML, template scripting (AMPscript, Liquid), and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Experience with messaging platforms like Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
