Title and Summary
Marketing Manager - Marketing Services (12 months fixed term)
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for clients. They use customer data to provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, evaluating campaign results and adapting the approach to optimize marketing performance.

Roles and Responsibilities - Marketing Manager
(This is a 12months fixed term contract role within Mastercard)
Support the execution and delivery of marketing strategies across credit cards and related propositions. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution - working closely with product squads, creative agencies, senior marketing managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in campaign delivery and marketing reporting, contributing to a high-performing team within client office.
Key Responsibilities• Credit Card Portfolio Marketing - Support the Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) in shaping and delivering the credit card portfolio marketing strategy, with a focus on customer engagement and retention, including delivery of segmentation strategy, marketing capability uplifts, and broader above-the-line (ATL) strategy.• Travel Booking Deal NBCs - Manage monthly deal Next Best Conversations (NBCs) to drive ongoing conversions for Travel Booking. Support monthly offer marketing with the Travel squad, including coordinating copy and creative development and go-live readiness across NBC channels• NBC Campaign Delivery - Lead end-to-end delivery of marketing-led NBCs in close partnership with the In Life squad, ensuring seamless execution from briefing through to go-live and post-campaign analysis.• Proposition & Performance Marketing - Support the management of ongoing proposition and performance marketing channels to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of spend and targeting.• Reporting & Insights - Support weekly and monthly product and marketing reporting cycles, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
All About You• Minimum 7 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within financial services, banking, or a related industry• Experience in campaign management and delivery across digital and traditional channels• Understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and personalisation strategies• Experience with NBC/CRM-driven marketing (e.g., next best offers, triggered communications) is highly desirable• Ability to manage creative development processes - from briefing through to copy approval and go-live• Comfortable working with data and reporting - ability to interpret marketing performance metrics • Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to work effectively across squads, product teams, and senior leaders• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail in copy and creative review• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
Qualifications
Basic qualifications • Undergraduate degree with work experience in marketing and campaign projects focused on one or more of the following fields: marketing content, digital and social media campaigns, digital customer experience, digital marketing, end-to-end product launch, ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystems, offline marketing activities/campaigns, media management and planning, direct response marketing • Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties • Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders, and vendors • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills • Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Ability to communicate effectively in English • Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs • Ability to travel and work on client site minimum 3 days per week
Preferred qualifications • Additional marketing experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing and campaign experience from agency environment, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, video making (e.g., scripting, storyboard, and content), marketing content, usability labs and experience research, print production management • Global supply chain management (GSM), including sourcing new suppliers and assessing third party production vendors • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) • Experience developing and implementing solutions and measuring impact on clients' business • Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties • Experience coaching junior delivery consultants • Relevant industry expertise and/or experience in product, sales, or marketing technology • MBA or master's degree with specialization in marketing or digital (not required)
