Your new role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team of six marketers and play a pivotal role in shaping how AustralianSuper supports members make the most of their super. You'll influence a broad range of member initiatives, drive innovation and help deliver meaningful outcomes at scale.

Combining strategic thinking, data-led decision making and exceptional people leadership, you'll deliver impactful lifecycle marketing, communications, guidance and education programs that help members get more from their super. You'll identify opportunities to strengthen multi-channel engagement, improve retention and create simple, personalised experiences that make a real difference to members' financial futures.

 

Key duties include but are not limited to:

· Lead, coach and develop a team of six Engagement Marketing specialists, creating an environment of empowerment, accountability and continuous improvement.

· Take a hands-on role in designing, delivering and montioringmulti-channel member engagement campaigns, education and communications initiatives.

· Identify opportunities to improve member retention, engagement, transactions and positive actions.

· Understand the member needs and consider the full experience, championing best practice creative development and design.

· Provide clear project updates and contribute to member engagement planning, prioritisation and results reporting.

· Collaborate across departments to align messaging, prioritise channels and deliver consistent member experiences.

 

What you’ll need

· Proven experience in marketing or communications, ideally within superannuation or financial services.

· Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, development and performance management.

· Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or similar.

· Extensive experience developing and project managing end-to-end communications across multiple channels and audiences.

· Retention campaign management experience across owned and paid channels.

· Strong strategic, creative, analytical and planning capabilities.

· Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
