Marketing & Events Coordinator

We are seeking a creative and organised Marketing & Events Coordinator. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, this role ensures seamless execution of events and other marketing activations that align with Specialized’s brand values.  The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for cycling.  They have strong organisational skills, and the ability to build meaningful connections with partners, vendors, and the cycling community.  Working closely with ambassadors and athletes to ensure an authentic association between the brand and athlete.

The Marketing and Events Coordinator at Specialized plays a pivotal role in creating experiences that inspire riders and elevate our brand. This position combines event planning expertise with marketing savvy to execute impactful campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing:

    • Support the planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns and social media activities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with commercial objectives

    • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining Specialized's brand integrity across all touchpoints

  • Events:

    • Plan, execute, and evaluate events, coordinating with staff, retailers and external partners and create complementary market campaigns

    • Lead and coordinate staff at events, defining roles and responsibilities and be the point of contact for external partners

  • Sports Marketing:

    • Manage relationships with athletes and ambassadors, ensuring effective brand representation and collaboration

    • Track performance and manage commitments to optimise brand impact.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2+ years in a marketing role with a focus on experiential, retail, or digital marketing

  • Skills: Strong communication, creativity, organisational, and stakeholder management abilities

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Australian Driver’s License
