About the Role
Are you a Transfer Pricing Manager with a strong mix of compliance and advisory skills, looking for opportunities to expand your skill set by working with more outbound multinationals? If so, join our Melbourne Transfer Pricing team and be part of a dynamic practice at BDO.
BDO’s National Transfer Pricing practice includes 7 Partners and over 50 professionals across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. Our Melbourne office is seeking a talented individual to support our diverse client base, not just on compliance work but also on challenging and rewarding advisory engagements.
As part of our team, you will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of advice. You will also take the lead in developing client relationships, overseeing junior team members, and identifying advisory opportunities to help clients navigate complex transfer pricing issues.
Key Responsibilities
·Oversee compliance requirements for a broad range of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
·Design and implement transfer pricing strategies for clients, including those involving complex financing transactions.
·Collaborate with clients to implement and monitor operational transfer pricing processes, ensuring alignment with policies and regulations.
·Manage firm-related administrative tasks, including billings and risk management, to maintain operational efficiency.
·Guide and delegate tasks to junior team members, supporting their growth and maintaining workflow.
·Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
·Proactively identify advisory opportunities and support clients on complex transfer pricing matters.
·Assist clients during ATO risk reviews and transfer pricing disputes, coordinating with local and international stakeholders.
·Contribute to newsletters and articles on transfer pricing, sharing insights with colleagues and clients.
·Assist with national initiatives, including those related to AI, risk management, business development, and firm-wide events, to strengthen BDO’s market position.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
·Minimum 4 years of transfer pricing experience in a global accounting firm and/or multinational organisation.
·Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple compliance deadlines.
·Comprehensive knowledge of international and Australian transfer pricing regulations.
·Relevant tertiary and CA/CPA qualifications.
·Strong problem-solving skills and an enquiring mindset.
·Ability to independently develop and sustain client relationships.
·A team player who is also capable of working autonomously when needed.
