About the Role:
As the Manager of Engage and Manage Broker and Capability, you will play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of CommBank stakeholders in the mortgage broking industry including but not limited to accredited Mortgage Brokers, head group partners and CommBank Staff. Our Training Hub is dedicated to delivering high quality training programs, having successfully conducted over 400 workshops for over 40,000 attendees. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Build strong relationships with brokers and key delivery recipients and ensure they receive high-quality training that supports our policies, products, and processes.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address capability, learning, talent, and leadership needs. You'll focus on fostering a mature learning culture driven by innovation.
- Lead efforts to enhance performance through scalable and sustainable training solutions, ensuring long-term success and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training workshops
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their training requirements and provide tailored learning experiences.
- Deliver targeted training and development programs to internal team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
- Consult with internal stakeholders to align training programs with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize innovative training methodologies and technologies, including podcasts and artificial intelligence, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the future design of our Learning Management System (LMS), focusing on personalisation of education journeys and effective attendance tracking
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and capability development within the broker network.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and NPS feedback making data-driven improvements as needed.
- Design and deliver targeted training programs to support change initiatives, ensuring both external and internal stakeholders are well-prepared to adapt to and implement changes effectively.
- Conduct a bi-annual audit of Training Hub content, ensuring accuracy and maintaining stringent quality control standards.
- Utilise CRM and marketing systems to manage the entire training event lifecycle, including sending invitations, handling registrations, issuing reminders, and conducting post-event surveys.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Consumer Home Lending preferably with exposure to Retail Banking (e.g.: experience as Lender/Credit Officer/Relationship Manager)
- Training development, design & delivery experience - highly regarded
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of adult learning and development principles and best practices.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact, scalable training solutions.
- Creative thinker and designer with the ability to build and deliver compelling and innovative training programs.
- Experience in creating and distributing regular newsletters and communications for external audiences.
- Available to travel interstate to deliver training as required
