The Role

The Investment Accounting team are looking to hire a Manager on a 15-month parental leave cover contract. 

This diverse and hands on role will assist with managing the investment accounting for IFM products and investments as directed by the Director, Associate Director or Manager, Investment Accounting. Other responsibilities include:

• Manage investment accounting, tax, product, and investment administration
  requirements for IFM Investors, as directed by the Director or Associate Director,
  Investment Accounting.
• Manage the Investment Accounting team, as directed by the Director or Associate
  Director, Investment Accounting.
• Provide internal training as required.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to the staff members in a pragmatic and collaborative
  style.
• Identify and implement new product developments for IFM, as directed by the Director
  or Associate Director, Investment Accounting.
• Provide insight into inefficient processes and contributes to solutions, as well as
  proactively managing more complex tasks within the team.

Your Background And Experience

• 9+ years relevant experience in investment accounting or fund accounting
• Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field
• May have post-graduate qualifications
• CPA or CA qualifications or be studying towards it
• Leadership and employee engagement skills
• Detailed market knowledge
• Client relationship management
• Business acumen, financial metrics and key performance drivers
• Strong financial knowledge
• High level numerical skills required
