The Opportunity

At KBR, we believe that learning drives success. We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Talent Development professional to lead a portfolio of high-impact initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge and professional growth of our teams across all departments.

 

As the Talent Development Lead, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering a future-focused Learning & Development (L&D) strategy, working closely with local and global leadership teams to ensure that our workforce is equipped for success.

 

This is a permanent full time opportunity and can be based in either Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide.

 

Responsibilities

·         Leading the end-to-end L&D initiatives - from planning and development to implementation and evaluation.

·         Driving strategic learning solutions that support both immediate and long-term business objectives.

·         Consulting with senior leaders and key stakeholders to align learning programs with workforce capability needs.

·         Providing expert guidance on contemporary learning methodologies, ensuring innovation and best practice.

·         Enhancing organisational capability by developing and delivering targeted learning solutions.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

·         A strong background in Learning & Development with experience in large, complex organisations.

·         Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate learning programs that align with business goals.

·         A strategic mindset, with the ability to think beyond day-to-day operations and shape the future of learning.

·         Stakeholder influence and consulting skills, with confidence in working across all levels of an organisation.

·         Experience in leading projects and small teams, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives.

·         Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and present reports, briefings, and learning frameworks.
