  • Using data and fan psychology to shape designs that move people, emotionally and intuitively.

  • Beyond delivery, you’ll help shape our strategic creative direction, spotting new opportunities and pushing design standards higher across the business. You’ll lead with empathy and energy, keeping fans at the centre of every decision and driving a culture of creativity and excellence.

What We Value

At PulseLive, we’re all about high performance — in our products and in our people. Our team thrives on ownership, collaboration, and delivering results without a lot of hand-holding.

As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll bring deep experience across the full digital product lifecycle. You know how to work hand-in-hand with engineers, balance technical constraints, and manage stakeholder expectations, all while keeping design excellence front and center.

We value designers who:

  • Own the process end-to-end - from concept to delivery.

  • Collaborate seamlessly across disciplines, understanding the bigger product picture.
Champion creativity and innovation, leading ideation and workshops that push boundaries.

  • Stay curious - about technology, our users, and how every team contributes to our success.

We’re looking for design leaders who make things not just look great, but work beautifully and inspire emotion.

  • A Figma Guru: Expert in Figma for high-fidelity UI design, prototyping, and design system maintenance.

  • Familiarity with Design Systems principles and maintaining a scalable, component-based library.

  • Deep understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform (Web, iOS, Android) best practices.

  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to effectively communicate and collaborate with engineers.

  • Proficiency in UX for native mobile applications (iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design). (Nice to have)

  • Expertise in end-to-end product design and delivery: Proven ability to facilitate creative workshops, collaborate closely with research teams, and lead the process from journey mapping and wireframing through to prototyping.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and have the ability to motivate, influence and inspire team members.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills for communicating design vision and strategy to clients and executive teams.

  • Experience in leading design across multiple Agile/Scrum delivery teams/squads.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
