The Leader of Performance Partnership, Asia Pacific for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will act as a lead for APAC responsible for driving and executing the overall APAC automation growth strategy through Performance Partnership.  He/she would be expected to engage C suite and executive levels as well as possess the expertise to own these client relationships; lead and mentor groups of executives through complex business problems; identify strategies and gain customer implementation commitment through close collaboration with the WITS teams to diagnose workflow impediments, providing expert counsel on appropriate strategies to re-engineer new or existing operations as part of the customer’s continuous improvement strategy.  He/she should be comfortable in deploying the right tools to manage value stream business change and would be responsible for directing the development of multiple business and continuous improvement initiatives across several enterprises and systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead strategic planning, development and execution of highly differentiated customer initiatives through operational efficiency enhancement and value-added programs. This role will conceptualize and deliver powerful case studies as well as perform ROI analysis of Performance Partnership engagements.  Responsible for driving APAC automation growth through increased customer base retention, new accounts acquisition and direct monetization of Performance Partnership activities.
  • Lead the development and execution of differentiated professional programs with customized training resources and online offerings for continuous improvement and value-added learning through DBS and lean tools.
  • Develop promotional strategy and tools to actively grow the enrollment and utilization of these programs by customers. Plan and execute strategic rollout of the differentiated professional programs in APAC markets in alignment with Customer DBS team readiness and expansion plans. Customizes content for APAC customer and sales force consumption, including translations and content modifications to address different APAC

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or life sciences technical field, MBA preferred, with 20 years of work experience in the medical device, healthcare, life science research or consulting industry. And at least 10 years of successfully building, leading and engaging large commercial organizations/enterprises.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills as well as solid business acumen, experience in profit and loss management and growth initiatives execution.
  • Ability to interface with and lead within a complex regional commercial team to achieve maximum results.
  • Successful track records in sales/marketing leadership and staff management, while functioning in a fast paced, action-oriented and complex business environment.
  • Proven experience in a Lab Director or a similar role, with a deep understanding of lab operations/lab efficiency and the ability to translate operational concepts into tangible business opportunities.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Estimated 25% of the time within APAC region.
