What will you be doing?

Ready to shape the future of FMCG insights? As a Lead Insights Consultant, you’ll work at the intersection of data, technology, and strategy working in deep partnership with one of Australia’s largest retailers and gaining unparalleled access to their world. You will leverage the Coles Synergy platform and cutting-edge tools to unlock growth opportunities. With access to one of the most comprehensive datasets in the industry; scan, market read, shopper panel, and customer data, you’ll transform insights into action and influence decisions that matter.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, strategic relationships with Coles, becoming a trusted partner and coaching the team to deliver high-quality market analysis across multiple data sets
• Lead and inspire the team; setting direction, elevating conversations, and coaching them to deliver exceptional insights and commercial outcomes
• Drive commercial outcomes through a consultative approach, understanding their needs, and guiding the team to craft thoughtful, tailored proposals that unlock growth and deliver mutual value.
• Be proactive on-site with Coles; seek out conversations, build relationships, and insert yourself into key discussions to unlock opportunities for Circana

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience
• Deep familiarity with the CPG/Retail space, built through client‑side roles or agency partnerships
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and elevate team performance
• Exceptional client service and relationship-building capabilities that foster trust and long-term partnerships
• Solid understanding of analytical concepts, including scan, shopper and customer data
• Clear and compelling communication skills, with confidence in presenting insights to senior stakeholders
• Commercially driven with proven business development expertise and a focus on growth
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
