Business Justification:
To support Qualys’ continued growth and digital transformation initiatives, we require a Lead Application Developer to lead the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across our Finance & Accounting applications including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory and Supply Chain functions. This role is critical to ensure that our Finance application platform remains a reliable, integrated, and efficient platform supporting our global Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Success organizations.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Application Developer to lead ongoing design & development, enhancements, and application maintenance for enterprise Finance & Accounting applications including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory and Supply Chain functions. This role will serve as the primary techno-functional owner of NetSuite application, ensuring platform stability, compliance, performance optimization, and continuous improvement aligned with organization and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will combine deep techno-functional Finance & Accounting expertise with strong hands-on system configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement capabilities in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- NetSuite Solution Architecture – Lead the design of scalable NetSuite solutions by translating business requirements into techno-functional architectures leveraging SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- NetSuite Customization & Development – Develop and deploy advanced NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), RESTlets, Map/Reduce scripts, workflows, and custom records, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Enterprise Integrations – Design and manage integrations between NetSuite and external systems such as CRM platforms, payment gateways, and banking platforms using SuiteTalk APIs, REST/SOAP services, and middleware platforms like Boomi.
- Process Optimization – Drive process transformation across core ERP domains including Finance, Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ensuring optimal utilization of standard NetSuite capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the primary techno-functional advisor for business stakeholders by conducting discovery sessions, solution workshops, and translating business needs into scalable NetSuite solutions.
- Delivery Leadership – Own end-to-end delivery of NetSuite implementations, enhancements, and integrations ensuring on-time, in-scope, and high-quality execution while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Governance, Documentation & Best Practices – Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, coding standards, release governance, and audit compliance while maintaining detailed documentation including functional designs, technical specifications, and integration architecture.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship – Provide technical leadership to NetSuite developers and consultants through code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentoring, fostering best practices and continuous capability improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of Enterprise Application Development experience with at least 5+ years of strong hands-on NetSuite development.
- Expertise in SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP), SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics
- Strong JavaScript and web services knowledge.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Git/SVN and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of SQL and data modelling concepts.
- Strong understanding of ERP processes like Finance & Accounting, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory & Supply Chain
- Experience in multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environments preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification and SuiteCloud Developer Certification will be preferred.
