- Work closely with business teams (e.g., marketing) to understand their questions and deliver actionable insights
- Document data sources, assumptions, and logic used in analysis to support transparency and reproducibility
- Support machine learning projects by preparing clean, reliable data for modelling and contributing to feature engineering and model development under guidance

We are looking for someone with:
- 2+ years experience in data science and analytics
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field such as data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in developing clear, compelling data visualisations using tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based libraries

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- An awareness of data privacy principles and a strong commitment to ethical data use
- Alignment with our core values: Authenticity, Action, Empathy, Curiosity, and Connection

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
