Internal Communications Specialist
Are you ready to help shape internal communications across the Pacific region for Marsh? This role sits within Marsh Pacific and supports the delivery of clear, engaging and strategically aligned communications that bring regional and enterprise priorities to life for colleagues.
You will work closely with business leaders and colleagues across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea to deliver communication activity that informs, engages and connects our people.
What you will do:
- Support the delivery of the Pacific internal communications strategy, helping to plan and execute communication activity.
- Develop clear, relevant and engaging content for a range channels, including intranet, emails, videos, social media, town halls, presentations and webinars.
- Work across communication platforms and tools such as SharePoint, email delivery platform, internal social media and Teams
- Coordinate multiple projects at once, maintaining plans, timelines and follow-up actions to keep work moving smoothly
- Support the planning and delivery of internal events, including town halls, recognition activities and employee engagement initiatives
- Track and measure the effectiveness of communication activity, using insights to help improve future plans and messaging
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure communications are clear, consistent and aligned to brand and style guidelines
- Support the broader internal communications agenda by contributing ideas, improving processes and helping strengthen colleague engagement across the region
What you need to have:
- Experience in corporate communications, internal communications, marketing, journalism or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels
- Demonstrated project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the business
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams
- Based in either Melbourne or Sydney, this is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days a week in the office.
