Boeing Australia is currently seeking to recruit a Information Technology Intern to be based 100% onsite inour Port Melbourne location.
Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S)
IDT&S leads technology innovation across Boeing's global enterprise, delivering industry-leading digital, software, data, and security solutions that enhance processes and boost business and individual performance. The team harnesses technology and innovation to support Boeing's aerospace and defence programs worldwide.
This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global aerospace environment where you will engage in real projects impacting Boeing's operations and technology leadership. Interns will gain practical exposure to areas such as:
  • Business Analysis / Project Management: Requirement gathering, stakeholder engagement, workflow modeling, project coordination and collaboration with technical teams.
  • App / Software Engineering: Software development using modern frameworks and cloud platforms, microservices, generative AI, and involvement in the complete software lifecycle.
  • Data Science & Analysis: Data pipeline development, dashboard creation, application of machine learning techniques, predictive modelling, and use of analytics/AI tools.
  • Quality Engineering / Analysis: Test case creation, systems testing, test automation scripting, and continuous integration pipeline support.

You will be encouraged to contribute your ideas, support meaningful work, and build professional connections across Boeing's global teams. The internship is designed to apply and extend your university studies into valuable aerospace and technology industry experience.
Key Internship Details
  • Maximum-term contract starting November 2026 and concluding Feb-2027.
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and a supportive mentor network.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • Student status
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • Penultimate year student or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
  • Interest in technologies such as cloud computing, generative AI, software development, data analytics, and project management.
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
