The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Test Analyst at Gentrack, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing efforts for both Business as Usual (BAU) assignments and projects. Your responsibilities encompass strategic test planning, scoping testing strategies, estimating efforts and durations, and determining resource and environment requirements. Leading a team of test analysts, you will supervise their workload, ensuring the timely delivery of test deliverables that meet internal and client-defined quality standards. Your hands-on testing involvement will span end-to-end delivery phases, from planning to execution, contributing to the overall success of Gentrack and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will serve as a positive influence for technical best practices within the team and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

The Specifics
- Supervise test analysts and manage workload for BAU assignments and projects.
- Provide strategic direction for the test team, including planning, scoping, estimating, and resource/environment requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of test deliverables, meeting internal and client-defined quality standards.
- Undertake hands-on testing as needed, contributing to end-to-end test delivery phases.
- Guide and mentor team members, promoting technical best practices.
- Accurately record timesheets and charge services time.
- Tailor solutions to meet customers' needs.
- Adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
- Uphold occupational health and safety practices.
- Fulfil additional duties as reasonably requested by the direct line leader.
What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
- 3+ years of commercial software testing experience.
- Strong experience and knowledge of software testing lifecycle with Agile, Waterfall, and mixed methodologies.
- Proficiency in testing management tools such as Enterprise Test, Team Foundation Server, HPQC, Selenium, SOAPUI, Jenkins, Gherkin, and JIRA.
- Good working knowledge of relevant technologies and concepts, including Object-Oriented Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, Java or .Net experience, GIT, Web Services, CRM, and Utilities industry.
