About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Candy & Drinking Chocolate team. You'll be working on iconic Australian household brands, The Natural Confectionery Company, Pascall & Cadbury Drinking Chocolate.
This position is designed for an innovative and creative marketer, with responsibility for end-to-end brand management, including driving market share delivery & shaping strategic growth initiatives. The role will include product ideation & development, supporting launches above & below the line with external agency partners, designing packaging and point of buy assets, as well as working with our local candy factory in Scoresby to come up with the next big thing in Candy!
How you will contribute
Reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager, you will:
  • Work with internal stakeholders to support the Candy & Drinking Chocolate portfolio strategy and priorities, enabling consumer-centric growth.
  • Lead the cross-functional project team, including R&D and supply chain, to develop consumer-led innovation, including building business cases, problem-solving through the supply chain and supporting the stage and gate approval process.
  • Partner with local commercial teams and agency partners to launch and execute new products and activations in the market.
  • Drive impactful POS and effective customer marketing support.
  • Delve into data to monitor brand and activation performance, identifying key insights and growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the internal champion for our brands.
  • Engage in commercial planning, field sales engagements & internal launches.
  • Ultimately drive market share and brand growth through well-executed activations.

What you will bring
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector or familiarity with grocery execution.
  • The ability to thrive and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A blend of analytical skills and a creative mindset, showcasing both commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • A broad understanding of marketing principles; while e-commerce experience is beneficial, it is not essential.
  • Degree in Marketing and/or Business.
