As part of this journey, you’ll join a team designing and delivering modern distributed systems; re‑engineering legacy workloads into contemporary cloud patterns; and solving complex integration challenges across secure, highly available enterprise platforms. The Integration team builds software that connects MMS systems to third parties and internal consumers.

Here’s how you will make a difference in this role… 

In this role, you will design, build, and support integration solutions that enable secure and reliable data exchange between MMS systems, third-party providers, and internal consumer platforms.

This role is 2 days in the office and 3 days from home from Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney (Chatswood.)

The successful candidate will have experience delivering and supporting integration solutions in a complex .NET and Azure-based corporate environment. They will be comfortable working across modern cloud services and legacy technologies, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

At MMS clear expectations help our people Be the Difference. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: 

  • Experience with Azure cloud services, including APIM, Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps and Service Bus
  • Experience designing and building REST APIs using modern code design patterns, including Clean Architecture
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of DevOps practices using GitHub and Azure DevOps
  • Cloud reliability and SRE concepts (observability, distributed tracing, resilience patterns) 
  • Knowledge of automated testing of backend systems
  • Knowledge of EF Core, SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB
  • Exposure or interest in building software using AI tools such as Github Copilot or Claude Code
  • Knowledge of Azure Event Hubs and Event Grid Concepts will be advantageous but not essential

To be considered for this role you will have: 

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills 
  • 5+ years delivering backend or integration solutions in a medium-to-large enterprise
  • Comfortable contributing to both project delivery and production support activities 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, platform engineers, testers, business analysts, and business stakeholders
