This position acts and operates as the interface between Mondelez and Coles to ensure safe, efficient and on time replenishment. This roles focus is on customer collaboration and is accountable for delivering enhanced service cost effectively by driving the implementation of Customer Supply Chain improvement initiatives, while building deep relationships with our Customer Coles.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Execute orders against the sales/demand plan to maximise the service level of products to Coles DC's, within strict supply chain efficiency constraints to minimize total cost to serve.
- Review the 12-week aligned Operational Plan into the Coles network to identify and drive process improvements to ensure Service and Productivity Key Performance Indicator targets deliver profitable service.
- Manage daily / weekly customer Communications to Coles, while fostering effective collaboration and driving proactive issue resolution.
- Provide daily and weekly reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DIFOT (Delivered In Full and On Time), Product availability and inventory levels. Drive Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure demand plans for Coles are reconciled and aligned through the Collaboration process
What you will bring
A desire to accelerate your career, a passion for customer engagement and the following experience and knowledge:
- Supply chain experience and/or Sales experience
- Experience in FMCG/CPG environment, preferably food or other fast moving, dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraint
- Strong communication skills
- Time management, prioritization, and demonstrated experience in planning
- Able to influence cross-functional teams
Education / Certifications:
- A business or supply chain degree is an advantage
Job specific requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or sales
- Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry will be well regarded
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to SAP is an advantage
Work schedule:
- We follow a hybrid model with 3 days working from office and 2 days from home.
- 12-month full-time contract opportunity based between our South Melbourne head office and our customers Hawthorn East office.
