Key responsibilities include:
- As the line manager for up to 15 Integrated Product Support practitioners, specialists, and engineers supporting multiple concurrent Defence Acquisition programs while also enabling the professional development of the team.
- Undertake estimation, planning, management, review, and reporting on progress of technical work scope.
- Work in partnership with multiple internal stakeholders including Engineering Managers, Chief Engineers, Architects, Program Managers, and Human Resources, to design and implement Support Systems, supporting the Introduction into Service of Defence Capabilities.
- Overseeing the design and implementation of Support Systems that address all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements identified in the Defence Integrated Product Support Manual.
- Supporting the growth of capability, through learning and development, mentoring, and coaching of IPS teammates.
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong passion for establishing and fostering positive team cultures.
- (Essential) A minimum of 10 years' demonstrated experience supporting Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) programs.
- Demonstrated personnel leadership qualities, including the ability to foster, develop, and sustain a team of Integrated Product Support practitioners, specialists, and engineers as required by the business to support current and future objectives.
- Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications are desired, however, prior experience will be considered.
- Experience supporting logistics/support systems analysis for major acquisition programs ASDEFCON Strategic Material Acquisition Programs is highly desirable.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
