The primary role of an Axis Inside Sales Account Executive (ISAE) is to activate, support and grow selected and new Authorised Partners (AP’s), as well as validate and qualify all inbound marketing leads in their territory i.e; Victoria and Tasmania.
This challenging role calls for a proactive approach to establishing and developing the relationship with AP’s, with the goal of better understanding their business and the types of customers they support, to help them grow into a Silver Axis Partner and beyond.
You will need a dynamic personality and a proven ability to handle all incoming sales calls and new leads eg. from Marketing Events or Axis website visits, managing the lead queue with other ISAE’s within our Salesforce CRM.
The ISAE reports to the Area Sales Manager, and will be based in Melbourne, Australia.

What you’ll do here as
- Develop and grow Axis Authorised Partners within our channel partner program
- Handle the CRM/Salesforce lead queue; validating and qualifying leads into opportunities and finally into projects
- Handle Inbound Calls in a professional, inquisitive and sales focused way, to uncover the customer’s needs
- Make Outbound sales calls to develop inactive partners, or partners who may have a potential for growth
- Keep AP’s educated and aware of Axis solutions, encouraging and signing them up to obtain their Axis Certification
- Participate actively in marketing activities – Axis Experience Centres (AEC) visits, Security Events, fairs, exhibitions, to meet with customers and Partners in the industry to gain experience and knowledge
- Comprehensive reporting & analysis to provide insights to drive decision-making and business growth
- Provide updates on monthly project revenue progress and sales pipeline within your defined territory of Victoria and Tasmania

We are looking for someone
- With a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related
- At least 3 years of sales experience in a similar capacity
- With experience working within an indirect sales model, working with vendors, distributors, resellers, system integrators and channel partners
- With a track record in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in the technology sector; experience in the CCTV Network Security industry is an advantage
- With experience working in a dynamic environment, with a customer-focus sales culture
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, proficiency in Sales Force is an advantage
- With appropriate work rights to work in Australia

- Security and/or IT technical knowledge to provide first level technical information
- An interest in IP technology in the CCTV industry
- Friendly and open, patient; being customer service minded and collaborative with colleagues and partners
- Sales driven, accountable and determined to help grow the Axis business
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), with an articulate and clear telephone voice
- Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently
- Good organizational skills - can handle multiple priorities
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
