The role & it's impact:
This Inside Account Manager role is about growing and managing Xero's relationships with valued Accounting and Bookkeeping firms in your territory. In this role you will build, educate, and grow our Xero Partner channel through effective territory management and sales pipeline development.
Through effective territory management, you will prioritise your portfolio of 400 partners to optimise calling time and identify opportunities to design longer-term deals that support your partners' digital strategies - with your ultimate focus being retaining partners, migrating clients to Xero and helping these practices grow their business.
The team & how they connect:
You will join a collaborative team of 7 reporting directly to our Partner Sales Manager. The team works closely together, exchanging ideas transparently and working as a coordinated unit to expand Xero's footprint. By balancing individual accountability with collective support, this team ensures partners receive the strategic guidance they need to thrive.
Initially, you will focus on:
Categorising and prioritising a dedicated territory to build a healthy pipeline of new and continued revenue opportunities.
Identifying opportunities to develop business plans to produce larger or longer term deals within your book of business
Engaging with existing partners via phone and email to build quick, robust rapport and support their online migration strategies.
Maintaining up-to-date, accurate records of all inbound and outbound partner interactions within Salesforce.
Increasing the percentage of certified partners within your region and driving attendance to upcoming Xero educational and sales events.
