How You’ll Make an Impact:  
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Strata Decision Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure systems that enable the reliability and performance of our technology platforms supporting SaaS applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the platforms and systems maintain high availability, scalability, and resilience. With a strong foundation in infrastructure engineering, you will focus on proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to achieve maximum uptime and performance. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will ensure our systems consistently meet and exceed expectations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • System Support: 
    • Work closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Cloud teams to optimize performance and streamline application deployment processes. 
    • Drive reliability engineering practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. 
    • Automate infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and maintenance tasks using tools like Ansible and Terraform. 
  • Documentation and Best Practices: 
    • Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and runbooks. 
    • Create and update best practices documentation for team members and cross-functional teams. 
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: 
    • Conduct system and application performance analysis using monitoring tools, logging systems, and other relevant metrics to identify and resolve issues. 
    • Optimize overall system performance by leveraging insights and ensuring that systems are meeting performance benchmarks. 
  • Collaboration & Strategic Vision: 
    • Collaborate with the Manager of Infrastructure and the Sr. Director of IT to define, implement, and execute long-term strategic goals for applications and infrastructure. 
  • Engineering Team Support: 
    • Focus on supporting Engineering Teams from an Infrastructure perspective, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows. 

What we’re looking for:  

  • 2+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). 
  • 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 
  • 2+ years of experience with at least one configuration management tool such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or Chef. 
  • 1+ years of experience with incident management, performance monitoring, and capacity planning tools. 

Estimated Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000
Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. In addition, Strata provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
