About the Role
As a Human Resource Generalist—Logistics, you will be part of a team that builds strong and trusting relationships with associates and business partners while fostering a culture of care and appreciation. You will drive HR initiatives, key people strategies and compliance programs and closely partner with location business partners to advise and support them in achieving business goals while working to retain an engaged workforce.
What You’ll Do
Drive retention, engagement, accountability and culture strategies with business partners
Actively engage with leadership to analyze and identify opportunities to create a better associate experience
Provide Leadership day-to-day guidance, counsel and support of business and talent strategies
Proactively provide visibility to trends and variances as well as root cause analysis and communicate to HR Leadership and business partners
Educate business partners with insights on risks and opportunities
Establish and maintain influential relationships with internal and external partners
Support and influence implementation and adoption of HR-related initiatives across the organization
Recommend and partner to develop new reports and initiatives, using business knowledge and multiple data tools based on evolving business needs
Advocate and reinforce Kohl’s values and DEI initiatives
Additional tasks may be assigned
What Skills You Have
Required
2+ years of experience in associate relations or HR
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical, planning and organization, decision making and leadership skills
Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred
Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on HR/Business or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of Google Suite
PHR or SPHR
