Job Description

The Role 

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, the HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role as a strategic advisor to dedicated internal groups.  You will provide business focused, strategic and operational HR advice, building strong partnerships that support our people and drive organisation success.

As a strategic partner, you will work closely with leaders and employees on a broad range of people-related matters, including talent attraction and retention, the application and development of HR policies and practices, workforce and succession planning, culture and engagement initiatives and performance development.

Having a deep understanding of your respective internal client groups operations will enable you to provide proactive guidance that helps leaders shape and align their people strategy with business objectives and our national People and Culture vision.

A key focus of the role is supporting leaders in managing and developing their employees and teams. You will coach, guide and provide feedback to enhance leadership capability and overall organisational effectiveness.

Qualifications

About You

  • You are tertiary qualified and bring strong experience in a strategic HR partnering capacity. You are a champion for people and culture, ideally with 3-5 years HR Business Partnering experience preferably within the financial services industry.
  • You will be an outstanding communicator (both written and verbal) and you will be adept at consulting and influencing a broad range of stakeholders to successfully influence them on key change initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, communication, negotiation and consultative skills at all levels is also required with generalist understanding of HR legislation, risk and compliance issues.

What does our recruitment process look like?
