Reporting to the Director of Centre of Excellence, you will shape and lead our national training strategy, build a talented team of State Training Managers, and look after the Train the Trainer model that keeps our restaurant training sharp and consistent in every state. You will be the bridge between our central training team and the day to day on the floor, making sure each State Training Manager has what they need to deliver brilliant training in their patch. It is a role with real reach, helping us grow capable, confident Crew, Managers and Franchisees right across the country.

  • Keep all our training tools and platforms fresh, current and on point
  • Spot the gaps in how we train and fix them with smart national projects
  • Build strong relationships with Operations, Franchisees, People, Culinary and the wider team
  • Report to the Director of Centre of Excellence on how our training is tracking and where we can do better

What We Are Looking For

  • Extensive experience leading training across a state or the whole country, ideally in fast food, retail, hospitality or FMCG
  • A track record of building Train the Trainer programs that work at scale
  • Experience leading a team spread across different states
  • A real feel for how franchise and corporate operations work together
  • Great with senior people, you can win them over and bring them along with you
  • Confident with budgets and numbers, you know how to link training spend to real outcomes
  • Brings drive and creativity, happy to lead from the front and be hands on
  • Ability to travel interstate and intrastate when required

What You'll Love

We're incredibly proud of our amazing people and always have each other's backs. Here's some of what you'll get:

  • Be part of Australia's fastest growing restaurant company
  • Real career growth, here in Australia and overseas
  • Annual bonus scheme and a long-term incentive scheme
  • Up to 5 weeks of annual leave each year (ask us how)
  • Paid parental leave
  • The chance to one day become a franchisee

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
