Job Summary

The Head of Marketing is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving brand growth, market expansion and demand generation on a global scale.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll lead Hapana’s full marketing function, spanning brand, product marketing, demand generation and international expansion. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success to unify our go-to-market approach, ensuring Hapana’s message is consistent, powerful and performance-driven.

Your mission is to be Hapana’s marketing leader in an AI-powered fitness technology where you will deliver measurable revenue impact while inspiring customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities          Strategic Leadership & Brand Growth
  • Define and execute Hapana’s global marketing strategy across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.
  • Lead the expansion of Hapana in the US market, driving brand awareness and customer acquisition in our highest-growth region.
  • Evolve Hapana’s brand from a high-growth startup to a global category leader by shaping the narrative, tone and visual identity.
  • Partner with the executive team to ensure unified messaging across product, sales and communications.
  • Position Hapana as a thought leader in AI-driven fitness and wellness technology through storytelling, media engagement and strategic partnerships.
          Product Marketing & Platform Launch
  • Lead all go-to-market initiatives for Hapana’s next-generation AI-powered platform launching in 2026.
  • Oversee customer migration strategies, product positioning and competitive differentiation.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and sales enablement materials tailored to each market segment.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales to validate product-market fit and influence the product roadmap
          Demand Generation & Market Expansion
  • Build a scalable, data-driven demand generation engine that delivers a predictable and qualified pipeline.
  • Design and execute account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts.
  • Optimise lead generation and conversion across paid, organic and referral channels.
  • Drive regional marketing programs that support Hapana’s global growth across ANZ, Asia, Europe, and the US.
         Brand, Content & Thought Leadership
  • Content Strategy by developing and managing a world-class content engine that produces thought leadership, customer success stories, educational resources, and SEO-optimised assets to drive organic growth.
  • Customer Advocacy through creating and scaling programs that showcase customer success through case studies, testimonials, and peer advocacy leveraging Hapana’s 3,000+ customer base.
  • Community Building by Partner with Customer Success and Support to foster peer-to-peer learning, customer loyalty, and organic brand advocacy.
  • Executive Positioning with elevating with the Hapana’s executive team as industry leaders through speaking engagements, thought leadership articles and strategic partnerships.
          Marketing Operations & Analytics
  • Own and optimise the marketing technology stack, including CRM, automation, analytics, attribution and ABM tools.
  • Define and track performance metrics across pipeline, CAC, LTV and brand engagement.
  • Manage marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with RevOps and Finance to ensure marketing’s contribution to revenue is measurable and transparent.

           Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and scale a high-performing marketing team across brand, content, product marketing and demand generation.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous learning.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to drive alignment and impact.

Qualifications & Experience         Essential Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Proven success developing and executing go-to-market strategies across multiple customer segments (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise).
  • Experience driving international market expansion, particularly into the US market.
  • Demonstrated success leading major product or platform launches.
  • Strong background in demand generation, brand strategy, and product marketing.
  • Track record of managing and growing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Comfortable operating in scale-up environments ($10M–$50M revenue, 50%+ YoY growth).
          Preferred Experience
  • Experience in the fitness, wellness or vertical SaaS industries.
  • Familiarity with competitors like Mindbody, Glofox, Momence, Arketa or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of AI and emerging technology marketing.
  • Experience marketing to franchise or multi-location businesses.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (a plus).
