Who is Heidi?

Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that supports clinicians every step of the way, from documentation to delivery of care.

We exist to double healthcare’s capacity while keeping care deeply human. In 18 months, Heidi has returned more than 18 million hours to clinicians and supported over 73 million patient visits. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and over 110 languages.

Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, working with a shared purpose: to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare.

Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health, among others.

We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what’s proven, shaping healthcare’s next era. Ready for the challenge?

The Role

Heidi is changing how clinicians work by eliminating admin, not clinical judgement. As our first Head of Product Marketing, you’ll own the stories, strategies, and motions that connect our product to real clinical impact—accelerating adoption across specialties, geographies, and segments (solo practice → enterprise health systems).

This role is pivotal to defining and evangelising the “AI Care Partner” category. We’re not just competing in AI scribes or clinical documentation; we’re building a category clinicians, enterprises, and patients recognise and adopt as the default. You’ll shape this narrative in partnership with Brand, Product, and Clinical leadership

What you’ll do
  • Category creation & evangelism: Position Heidi as the AI Care Partner—codify the narrative, ensure it permeates messaging, launches, analyst/press coverage, and sales/clinical motions.

  • Positioning & Messaging: Define crisp, clinician-authentic positioning for core products and new capabilities; tailor by specialty (e.g., primary care, mental health, vet, allied health) and by buyer (clinician, clinic ops, enterprise).

  • Launches & GTM: Build and run the tiered launch program (from incremental feature to major release). Orchestrate cross-functional plans with Product, Growth, Sales, and Clinical.

  • Packaging & Pricing: Partner with Product & RevOps on packaging, pricing experiments, and monetisation for PLG + sales-led motions.

  • Market Intelligence: Own competitive and category insights (scribes, ambient AI, EHR add-ons). Maintain win/loss, segment narratives, and objection handling.

  • Sales & CS Enablement: Create enablement that actually sells—narratives, demo scripts, customer stories, ROI calculators, battlecards; certify the field.

  • Content that moves markets: Partner with Brand to turn clinical impact into proof—use-case pages, case studies, thought leadership, and keynote narratives.

  • Analyst & Influencer Relations: Build relationships with analysts, KOL clinicians, and partner ecosystems to shape the category.

  • Metrics & Experimentation: Instrument funnels (discover → try → activate → expand), run message tests, and report insights that inform roadmap and revenue strategy.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and enable a small, senior PMM team.

What good looks like (12–18 months)
  • Clear, adopted master narrative used company-wide.

  • Launch discipline in place, with measurable impact on activation/expansion.

  • Improved win rate, shorter sales cycle, and higher activation in PLG.

  • Trusted competitive program powering product bets and field confidence.

You’ll thrive here if you have
  • 8–12+ years in B2B SaaS Product Marketing (at least 3 years leading PMM or heading a segment).

  • Proven success marketing technical products (AI/ML or workflow tools) to professional users; healthtech or adjacent regulated industries a plus.

  • Mastery of positioning, segmentation, pricing/packaging, and tiered launches.

  • A portfolio of enablement that sells (decks, demos, proof assets) and content that travels.

  • Strong research chops: win/loss, market mapping, message testing, cohort analysis.

  • Builder’s bias to action: ship small, iterate fast, high ownership.

  • Exceptional writing—clear, precise, and clinician-respectful; comfortable interviewing customers and turning their language into messaging.

Nice to have
  • Experience with health system or EHR ecosystems (HIPAA/NHS contexts).

  • Global GTM exposure (UK, US, EU) and multi-product portfolios.

  • Familiarity with PLG + enterprise dual-motion environments.

What do we believe in?

Heidi builds for the future of healthcare, not just the next quarter, and our goals are ambitious because the world’s health demands it. We believe in progress built through precision, pace, and ownership.

  • Live Forever - Every release moves care forward: measured, safe, and built to last. Data guides us, but patients define the truth that matters.

  • Practice Ownership - Decisions follow logic and proof, not hierarchy. Exceptional care demands exceptional standards in our work, our thinking, and our character.

  • Small Cuts Heal Faster - Stability earns trust, speed delivers impact. Progress is about learning fast without breaking what people depend on.

  • Make others better - Feedback is direct, kindness is constant, and excellence lifts everyone. Our success is measured by collective growth, not individual output.

Our mission is clear: expand the world’s capacity to care, and do it without losing the humanity that makes care worth delivering.

Why you will flourish with us 🚀?

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.

  • Additional paid day off for your birthday and wellness days

  • Special corporate rates at Anytime Fitness in Melbourne, Sydney tbc.

  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
