  • Develop marketing strategies grounded in a deep understanding of Enterprise customers, industry segments, buying journeys and market needs.

  • Partner closely with senior Sales leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure strong alignment between marketing and commercial priorities.

  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of senior marketers, creating an environment that enables high performance, growth and accountability.

  • Build and maintain strong planning, prioritisation and execution disciplines to ensure the team delivers impact at pace.

  • Leverage data, insights and performance metrics to optimise investment decisions, campaign effectiveness and business outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement, strengthen market positioning and accelerate growth across priority industries.

About You

You are an experienced and commercially focused marketing leader with a strong track record of driving business growth through strategic industry-led marketing. You understand how to translate customer and market insights into impactful marketing programs that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

You are comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments, influencing executive leaders and aligning diverse teams around a shared vision. Equally strategic and execution-focused, you thrive in fast-paced environments where accountability, collaboration and results matter.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in B2B and/or B2E marketing leadership roles, with a strong understanding of Enterprise customers, industries and market dynamics.

  • Proven success delivering commercial outcomes through marketing, including ownership of pipeline contribution, demand generation and marketing performance metrics.

You are a leader who:

  • Builds engaged, high-performing teams grounded in trust, clarity and accountability.

  • Creates an environment where people feel supported, challenged and motivated to do their best work.

  • Brings a growth mindset, continually lifting standards, encouraging new thinking and improving the way teams operate.

  • Leads with energy, transparency and ownership, setting a strong example for performance and culture.

  • Champions collaboration and encourages diverse perspectives to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the business.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
