The Head of Finance Business Partnering partners with our Money Business Unit, which is responsible for Personal and Auto Loans across Australia and New Zealand. The role provides financial leadership and commercial insight to support performance across the Money division, while also providing dedicated finance support to the newly established Enterprise Growth portfolio.
 

The role reports to the Group GM FP&A and Investor Relations and partners closely with the EGM Money, the cross functional Money Leadership team and the EGM Enterprise Growth.
The role offers strong exposure to divisional leadership with hands on financial ownership. The role requires someone confident supporting strategic discussions and equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to build the financial models and analysis that inform them.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering our Bridge to the Future strategy and supporting the development of a new growth engine for Latitude.

About the role 

  • Own financial performance across the Money division, including monthly P&L reporting, delivering clear insights on performance drivers, risks and opportunities
  • Provide financial support to the new Enterprise Growth portfolio as it is established and scaled
  • Maintain and enhance profitability models to ensure transparency of product and customer economics
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long range planning across Money & Enterprise Growth, aligning to enterprise targets
  • Act as the dedicated finance partner to the EGM Money and the broader Money Leadership Team providing clear, commercially grounded advice
  • Work closely with Finance teams including Treasury, Controllership, Risk Modelling and central FP&A to ensure alignment of financial assumptions, funding considerations and performance reporting
  • Support development of strategy, operating model and financial ambition
  • Build and maintain robust financial models and business cases for new products, features, partnerships and investment decisions
  • Support disciplined capital allocation and post implementation reviews on material initiatives
  • Identify emerging risks early and recommend practical mitigation actions
  • Balance competing priorities across Finance and the business while leading and developing your direct report, who is primarily responsible for operating expense management and supporting analysis across product performance

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience materially influencing a P&L
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively at executive level
  • Advanced financial modelling capability and comfort working in the detail
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a high demand environment
  • A growth mindset and desire to broaden scope and impact over time
  • AI-native - regularly leverages AI tools to enhance decision-making, automate reporting, accelerate content creation, and drive greater efficiency across your team
