  • Identify and implement AI, automation and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Lead strategic relationships and joint business plans with Google, Meta, TikTok and other key partners.
  • Hold agencies and external partners accountable for performance, delivery and commercial value.
About you

You are a commercially driven digital leader who can connect marketing activity to revenue and business outcomes. You are confident working with complex performance data and can turn insights into clear priorities, decisions and action.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in digital performance, growth, acquisition and media leadership, ideally 8–10 years or more.
  • Proven experience leading and developing specialist digital or performance media teams.
  • Experience managing significant digital media budgets and commercial outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, GA4 and performance media.
  • Exposure to Programmatic, Video, SA360, DSPs, CDPs and broader AdTech.
  • Experience developing digital growth strategies from data and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of measurement, attribution, CRM, customer journeys and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience partnering with Data, Product and Technology teams.
  • Experience managing senior platform, agency and media partnerships.
  • A demonstrated interest in using AI, automation and technology to improve effectiveness and productivity.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

Experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment or another high-volume consumer business will be highly regarded.

Why join AVC?

This is an opportunity to shape the digital and media capability of a growing, multi-brand hospitality group. You will have the scale, team and commercial influence to make a visible difference, while helping build smarter, more measurable and more effective ways of connecting customers with our venues.

Success in this role will mean digital investment works harder for the business, measurement becomes clearer, customer acquisition becomes more efficient and the digital team continues to grow in capability and impact.

If you are ready to lead digital with greater commercial influence, we would love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
