About the Department

The APAC Creative Studio is part of Franklin Templeton’s Global Creative Studio (GCS) within Global Brand Advertising Team. We support global distribution by producing marketing programs and materials for funds and services across regions. Working closely with Australia marketing team, the APAC team delivers product and positioning communications in a dynamic, collaborative and creative environment.

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia. The role involves developing innovative design across print, social media, web, with basic video editing and motion graphics abilities.

How You Will Add Value
  • Ensuring all outputs align with brand standards, accessibility, and marketing goals is essential to create cohesive visual experiences.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate briefs into compelling creative designs

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with GCS leadership and Production teams to prioritize tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines

  • Maintain organized design files and assets for easy access and updates, Present concepts and progress updates clearly to clients and internal teams

  • Collaborate on social media campaigns, creating banners, posts, and short-form video content tailored for platforms like LinkedIn

  • Basic video editing, social media video content creation, recording, and podcast editing; experience in video shooting is a plus

  • Expert in formatting PowerPoint presentations in line with branding standards and creating visually engaging slides

  • Set up and manage small video shoots when required, in collaboration with production teams. 

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field

  • 3–5 years of graphic design experience

  • Global financial services experience is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro); familiar with Hype for HTML animated display ads

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word

  • Competent with Canva or other self-serve media management tools; experience designing digital banners and content for various platforms

  • Basic understanding of Adobe XD, Figma, and web design principles

Soft Skills

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients

  • Stay current with emerging design technologies, AI tools, and innovative workflows

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective project management, working closely with leadership and production teams

  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working across regional and global teams

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
