Job Description

The role

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s visual identity and driving brand engagement across multiple channels. Working within the content marketing team, you’ll create high-quality, audience-focused designs that support strategic marketing objectives and uphold brand consistency. From product communications to promotional materials, your work will enhance clarity, impact, and trust—contributing directly to customer growth and brand awareness. You’ll also act as a brand custodian, ensuring our visual standards are maintained and our Brand Guidelines are applied consistently across the business.

In this role, you will

  •  Develop and deliver accurate, brand-compliant visual assets across digital and print channels.
  • Interpret creative briefs to produce a wide range of materials including brochures, social media posts, EDMs, video production (ie, META), signage, and corporate documents.
  • Maintain brand consistency in layout, typography, colour palette, and imagery across all outputs.
  • Manage multiple design requests, prioritising deadlines and applying version control.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure visuals align with messaging and campaign goals.
  • Act as a brand custodian, applying and maintaining brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Liaise with external creative agencies to ensure alignment and consistency of visual assets.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory and compliance standards, including mandatory disclosures
  • Maintain design templates and style guides for internal use across departments
  • Contribute to design innovation by exploring new formats and incorporating accessibility principles.
  • Support internal stakeholders with design expertise and contribute to process improvements that enhance creative output.

Qualifications

About You

You’re a creative and detail-oriented designer with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, and at least three years of hands-on experience in professional design environments. Ideally, you bring additional certifications such as Adobe Certified Professional (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma Design) and Accessibility Design. You’re confident working across a range of formats and channels, and you understand the importance of brand governance, accessibility, and regulatory compliance in visual communication.

In addition to your design expertise, you have experience working in financial services or agency settings. This background equips you with a strong understanding of the unique demands of the industry, including the need for precision, confidentiality, and adherence to strict regulatory standards.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills to manage projects and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional eye for detail with expertise in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience designing for web, social media, print channels, and email formats.
  • High accuracy in design execution, including file management and version control.
