Thales’ Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) division creates, develops and deploys air traffic management systems that are critical for safe aircraft movement. With products covering 40% of the world’s airspace, we enable the safe take-off and landing of 2 in 3 aircrafts globally.
Our Graduate Program focuses on developing early career talent to help us deliver tomorrows high-tech solutions. Over an 18-month development program you will engage in on-the-job learning, mentoring, a graduate project and structured training modules.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Located in Melbourne World Trade Centre (CBD) sites on Wurundjeri land
Work as part of a team to deliver a first of its kind air traffic management project
Help deliver software solutions or tools and support our software teams
Interact with internal and external stakeholders throughout development lifecycle
Collaborate, cross functionally with the various engineering disciplines within the business
Design, document, implement and test software enhancements and changes
Contribute to continuous process and technical improvements
ABOUT YOU
Recently degree qualified in Software Engineering or Computer Science
You have experience in Java and want to put it to good use
A true desire to work in a diverse team towards a common goal
You are methodical, love solving complex problems and are not afraid to think things through before offering a solution
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and presentation skills
AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain baseline clearance.
