About this role
This is an entry-level role as Graduate Software Developer, intended to provide a strong foundation in software development within a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
You will support the analysis, design, development, and testing of applications that meet business needs, while working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to build technical skills, understand business processes, and contribute to projects that drive positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
About you
We’re looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Software Engineer who is eager to grow their skills and gain hands-on experience building modern applications. You’ll have exposure to programming languages such as TypeScript, .NET, Java, or Ruby, whether through university projects, personal work, or internships.
You’ll have a basic understanding of web frameworks like React with NextJS or Ruby on Rails, and familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including writing simple queries. You should also understand how modern web applications work, including APIs, and be excited to learn more about building scalable, maintainable systems.
You’ll gain experience with version control, testing, continuous integration, and other best practices, while working alongside experienced engineers on meaningful projects that contribute real value to the business.
We’re looking for:
Degree qualification in relevant IT discipline (or near completion)
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and seek help when needed
Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
Eagerness to learn from others and share knowledge
Commitment to delivering a positive experience for internal or external customers
Experience developing Cloud-native apps in AWS or Azure (preferred)
Experience building containerised applications with Docker (preferred)
Experience with automated testing and mocking frameworks (preferred)
Exposure to Scrum or other Agile development methodology (preferred)
We know some people only apply when they meet every requirement. We’re always on the lookout for curious individuals who will add to the culture – so if this role resonates with you and you have relevant experience, we’d love to hear from you!
