As a Glove & Barrier Lineworker, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and live-line operation of electricity distribution networks, helping deliver safe, reliable, and efficient power to communities across Victoria.
Key responsibilities include:
- Construction and maintenance of overhead electricity networks
- Performing live-line work using glove and barrier methods
- Safe operation of plant, tools, and equipment
- Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Supporting network reliability and customer outcomes
- Working collaboratively within a high-performing field team
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in ESI Distribution (Powerline)
- Current Glove & Barrier accreditation and experience
- Experience in electricity distribution construction and maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Current High Risk Work Licence
- Construction White Card
Desirable:
- Forklift Licence
- Dogging Ticket
- Chainsaw Ticket
- Additional industry-related qualifications
