About the Role

As a Glove & Barrier Lineworker, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and live-line operation of electricity distribution networks, helping deliver safe, reliable, and efficient power to communities across Victoria.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Construction and maintenance of overhead electricity networks
  • Performing live-line work using glove and barrier methods
  • Safe operation of plant, tools, and equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Supporting network reliability and customer outcomes
  • Working collaboratively within a high-performing field team
About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate III in ESI Distribution (Powerline)
  • Current Glove & Barrier accreditation and experience
  • Experience in electricity distribution construction and maintenance
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Current High Risk Work Licence
  • Construction White Card

Desirable:

  • Forklift Licence
  • Dogging Ticket
  • Chainsaw Ticket
  • Additional industry-related qualifications
