Job Description

The Property Franchise Property & Leasing Manager plays a critical role in managing the design and fit-out of over 215 existing stores, as well as new franchise locations.

Aligned with the Aussie brand and supporting the Retail channel within Lendi Group, this role works closely with the General Manager of Network Development and is supported by a Franchise Property Coordinator. You will provide comprehensive support throughout the entire store build process, ensuring seamless collaboration with franchisees and key internal stakeholders.

This is a 12-month part-time maternity leave cover position, ideally requiring availability for 3 days per week.

The role:

  • Identify and approve locations for new builds and relocations, ensuring alignment with market representation strategies.
  • Assist franchisees with leasing negotiations and conduct zoning investigations to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Work with external Retail Designers to develop floor plans and oversee the full construction planning process.
  • Manage project workflows and service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with external suppliers and provide regular performance reporting with recommendations for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial property and retail store builds, with a sharp eye for site selection and design execution.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particularly in leasing and supplier management.
  • You’re a confident communicator and collaborator, comfortable working across teams, with franchisees and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • A problem-solver by nature, with a proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Have a flexibility to work part-time while playing a vital role in supporting the team throughout a 12-month maternity leave period.
