About the Role

Team Global Express is seeking an experienced Finance Manager – Separation & Transformation to lead the finance workstream supporting the legal and operational separation of our Parcels business. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in one of the organisation's most significant transformation programs, helping establish the financial foundations of a standalone business.

Reporting to the GM Business Performance (with a dotted line to the Executive GM Group Finance), you will partner across Finance, Technology, Procurement, Property, People & Culture, Legal and the Enterprise Separation Office to drive separation readiness and deliver critical financial governance, modelling, reporting and commercial outcomes.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute finance professional with experience in large-scale transformation, separation, carve-out, integration or finance program environments.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term role.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the finance workstream for the Parcels separation program, ensuring delivery of key Day 0, Day 1 and Day 2 milestones.

  • Build and maintain the integrated separation financial model, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow and investment tracking.

  • Develop and manage Transition Service Agreement (TSA) schedules, pricing models and recharge methodologies.

  • Deliver executive and Board-level reporting, providing clear, actionable insights on program financial performance, risks and opportunities.

  • Track program expenditure and oversee governance of operating and capital investments across the separation initiative.

  • Quantify and manage stranded costs, dis-synergies and mitigation initiatives across the business.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Procurement, Property, People & Culture, Legal and Tax to drive alignment and accountability.

  • Support the design of the future-state Parcels finance operating model, controls and reporting framework.

  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, reporting simplification and stronger financial controls.

What You'll Bring

  • CA or CPA qualification with strong commercial finance and program finance expertise.

  • Proven experience leading finance deliverables within separation, carve-out, integration, transformation or major program environments.

  • Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis capability.

  • Strong understanding of financial governance, controls, corporate finance processes and business transformation.

  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups and influencing senior leaders in a matrix environment.

  • Exceptional analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear business insights.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP, planning and reporting tools such as SAP, TM1 and Power BI.

  • Strong executive communication skills and experience preparing Board and Steering Committee reporting.

Highly regarded experience includes: Big 4 Transaction Services, finance transformation, TSA management, ERP implementations, legal entity separations, and transport, logistics or infrastructure environments
